Globe Records Sound and Vision CyberLounge The Cole Tate Band

About The Band:

Having rapidly emerged to the forefront of the new music scene, the Cole Tate Band continues the rich musical legacy of the San Francisco Bay Area with their original brand of rock'n' roll.

With the distinctive and soulful vocals of singer/songwriter/guitarist Cole Tate and the guitar wizardry of lead guitarist Erik Schramm, the Cole Tate Band's richly melodic songs are energetic and irresistibly catchy.

While the harmonic vocal exchanges and creative guitar explorations of Tate and Schramm give the Band's blues flavored rock a modern edge, the skin tight rhythm section of Adam Berkowitz on drums and Scott Urquhart on bass pump in a sweet taste of funk.

From the sarcastic wit of "Day After Tomorrow", the tender intimacy of "A Love So Strong' to the dark perils of delusion on "The Razors Edge", the lyrical storytelling of Tate's songs weave a musical tapestry of many textures.

Cole Tate's songwriting has attracted the attention of A&R reps and publishers from Los Angeles, Nashville and overseas.

Tate has appeared with such nationally known acts as Los Lobos, Chris Isaak, John Hiatt, Clarence Clemons and Greg Allman.
