After working as a guest with the Christmas Jug Band, Joe takes an all-acoustic jug band / string band approach here, using CJB front man & producer, Tim Eschliman as co-producer and washtub/string bass player and Gregory Dewey, the CJB's stalwart washboardist/drummer & the Fish's Woodstock drummer. Drawing upon the Jug Band's pool of instrumentalists, and Joe's own circle of talent, the album was fleshed out with such luminaries as Harper Simon, The Persuasions, Austin de Lone, Russ Gauthier, Ken "Snakebite" Jacobs, Suzy Thompson, Chris & Lorin Rowan and Bernie Krause.
