COUNTRY & WESTERN: He didn't have many hits as a singer, but Howard Crockett wrote Honky Tonk Man, Ole Slew Foot, Whispering Pines, and All Grown Up. All Johnny Horton hits. On the strength of Honky Tonk Man, he signed a contract with Dot Records, and this CD includes all his Dot/Hamilton recordings together with the legendarily rare Manco singles, as well as the never-reissued-until-now Smash recordings. Serious rockabilly collectors have long been aware of Howard Crockett. With this CD everyone can now appreciate a true original talent in the same vein as Johnny Horton and Johnny Cash but with a style all his own.

BLUES: Looking In the Mirror is the latest release by Detroit award winning guitarist Howard Glazer. This CD follows his critically acclaimed 2013 Stepchild Of The Blues CD. In 2013 Glazer was inducted into the Michigan Blues Hall of Fame & in 2014 he was voted Outstanding Blues/R&B Instrumentalist by the Detroit Music Awards. Featured are Glazer's signature tones on electric, slide & resonator guitar. All originals, several songs will satisfy the blues purists, while some depart from the standard blues/blues rock format. COUNTRY & WESTERN: The Howard Way has been around for some 12 years. It was started by the members as a tribute to American roots music but being "grown" in the traditional rock music genre the sound tends to be a bit rougher than the ordinary Americana. Now the love of this side project has turned to be the focus for the band, and most recently, to the recording of "Never Mind the Country". "Never Mind The Country" is a 12 song album with material mostly written by Thomas Hellgren and the band. Vocal guest appearances by Tony Bjorkenvall (Willy Clay Band, who also wrote the song "Time"), David Sandstrom (David Sandstrom Overdrive, also playing big muff guitar), Nicklas RG Gustafsson (Chrystal Caravan), Maria Erixon (Swinging Doors) and Sofia Henricsson (Lucky Bob).

BLUES: Howard Glazer plays a Johnny Winter-influenced style of electric blues. This CD single was composed in a standard blues form and is a topical song that is putting in its two cents on the issue of repealing the Patriot Act. As such it will have some relevance to and resonance with the national debate on the issue and could well find a lot of people who identify with the sentiments of the song and want to support it. The single is being released in advance of a full length CD to be released in early 2006 that will feature several artists performing song on topical issues of war, economic justice, religion in politics, etc.

BLUES: Liquor Store Legend is Blues/Rocker Howard Glazer's second album on Random Chance Records. The Detroit blues guitarist continues with his own brand of Johnny Winter inspired music with this collection of original songs. Besides electric bass and drums (which make up his working trio, The EL34s) he has also added some tracks with organ and back up vocals. Glazer's remarkable guitar technique and the rollicking, party-time blues he lays down makes this a very accessible album.
