After finishing high school, Tim attended the University of Portland where he received his Bachelor's degree in Music Composition and Theory under the tutelage of Phillipe Del a Mare. While working as a composer and studio musician in the Northwest, Tim's sound caught the ear of renowned British record producer Glyn Johns who gave Tim his first production and record contract. Glyn's production company introduced Tim to British session life, which allowed him to work with such artists as The Who, The Rolling Stones, Lazy Racer, Local Boys, Dusty Springfield, Tim Renwick, and Elton John. Tim's unique musical background has taken him around the world to record at many of the world's most famous and exotic studios extending his musical wingspan to record and perform with such diverse talents as: reknowned sax player Steve Douglas, jazz keyboardist Tom Coster, guitar giant Duane Eddy, Celtic fiddler Alasdair Fraser, R & B vocal legends The Spinners, psychedelic overlords The Jefferson Airplane, and the trailblazing Hellecasters.

This all-original, no-2-songs alike, previously unreleased rock album by the Reptile Brothers features frontmen Gregory Leroy Dewey, "Duke Dagreez", Nicholas Q (Not Joe) Dewey & Tim Eschliman: 3 wacky guys from Ohio and their pals during Mill Valley's mid to late 1970s north of San Francisco music scene. This is a band full of veterans from Mad River, Country Joe & the Fish, Grootna, Eggs Over Easy, Rowdy & the Rivets, Marty Balin's Bodacious D.F., Patty LaBelle, Andy Kulberg, The Moonlighters, Commander Cody, Etta James, Big Joe Turner, Jesse Colin Young, Sky Blue, Seatrain, Lou Reed, Jerry Corbitt, Nick Lowe, David Crosby, Elvis Costello, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Band members are Vic Smith, Austin de Lone, Peter Walsh, Mike Blaney, and a special appearance on vibraphone by Dan Hicks, a sometimes drummer of the group. Gospel: French Release, great package with 16-page booklet. Reissue of Columbia sides from 1954-1955. Many of these recordings haven't been available since they were first released on 78s. These recordings were instrumental in launching Mahalia Jackson to international fame. Though she had already been a popular figure on the black gospel circuit for some time, these mid-1950s sessions, with their tight, professional arrangements and high-quality production, were the first to bring her to the attention of white America. Standards such as "Walk All Over God's Heaven," "You'll Never Walk Alone," and "Didn't It Rain," with their simple yet effective piano and organ accompaniment, allow her formidable voice to soar in a way that would soon become familiar to a worldwide audience. acapella, rock, soul, rhythm & blues: The Edlos do the 60s - Far Out! Take a far out ride through the 60s and early 70s with the Edlos. There are some very clever adaptations of songs we have never heard arranged a cappella before such as Jethro Tull's "Aqualung", Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit", Led Zeplin's "Stairway to Heaven" (all 6 minutes of it) and - would you believe - "Tequila", trumpets and all? There are also a couple of a cappella standards done with a twist such as "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" (they call it "Wimoweh"). "Hurdy Gurdy Man" is sung employing a vocal technique explored in the Baroque period called "hocket" according to the liner notes. It's a very interesting choice because it almost sounds like an exaggerated version of Donovan's own style. There are not a lot of slick production techniques or effects used on this CD, but there are very creative a cappella arrangements of some pop classics.

Not only was he a brilliant musician, but an extremely devoted father as well. It is for this reason some of the best musical talent Sonoma County has to offer, once again, rose to the occasion. The result of this effort, is a compilation CD featuring performances by: Willy Jordan & Souljoy, John Allair, Danny Sorentino, Micheal Barclay Blues Band, Dr. Joel Rudinow, Earl Thomas, Stony Point, Volker Strifler & the Blue Zone, the late "Big Bill" Ganaye & the Cool Tones, Solid Air, The Real Tones w/ Steve Judkins performing 3 previously unrecorded songs, including, "So Sad to be Lonesome", Ralph Bryan's last session. With the exception of some legal fees, minor recording costs and the actual, physical manufacture of the CD package itself, the sound recording "When You Were Near", was produced entirely by donation. Studio time, engineering, editing, graphics, the tracks themselves were all offered without hesitation and unconditionally. All proceeds from the sale of "When You Were Near", will be used to create a trust to fund Elena Bryan's (Ralph's 14 yr old daughter who penned the poem "When You Were Near", the inspiration for this project) college education .This is yet another sterling example of musicians and artists coming together in the true spirit of community. The result is a surprisingly diverse cross section of styles and performances from a group of very talented artists getting together to meet a single goal.
