rock: Singer/Songwriter Cole Tate and his band draw on the influences of Rock, Blues, R & B, And Country music. The tight rhythm section of Adam B.(Drums) and Scott Urquhart (Bass) lay down a danceable groove that provides a solid foundation for some of the best dual guitar interplay since the Allman Brothers. Both Cole Tate and guitar wizard Erik Schramm display a mastery of soloing and creating beautiful musical textures. Special guests: Commander Cody, Joe Paquin (The Sundogs), Austin Delone (Elvis Costello, The Fabulous Thunderbirds), Keith Crossan (Tommy Castro Band), Jimmy Dillon (Clarence Clemmons), Eugene Huggins (Harvey Mandel, Buddy Guy), Patty Quinn (Kingfish). Produced by Cole Tate & Adam 'bagel' Berkowitz of Bo-La-De Productions. Cole Tate's songwriting on JUNKYARD MOON ranges from issues of love: "A Love So Strong", "Somehow You'll Know", "Back Porch Serenade"; loss: "Nothin' Left to Lose", "Sin City"; and personal growth: "Changes". This CD also features the bands truly unique version of Tracy Chapman's hit song "Talkin' 'Bout A Revolution" | |||||
