JAZZ: 3�sity goes well beyond the typical organ trio repertoire and continues to push the envelope of what an organ trio can sound like. Featuring Pat Bianchi on Hammond B3, Dave Corbus on guitar, and Todd Reid on drums, the trio weaves their way through some originals, some tunes outside the standard repertoire, as well as a few tunes that pay homage to the organ trio greats. You say "organ trio" and too often people immediately think "blues" or "R&B," and while this music is grounded in organ trio "roots," 3�sity pushes the boundaries with tight, cohesive arrangements and a fresh organ trio sound.

JAZZ: 3ology is a Colorado-based trio exploring the possibilities of improvisation and groove in an angular and fresh way. Members of the group draw on influences as diverse as Michael Brecker, Rush, Yellowjackets, Miles Davis, Living Colour, U2, John Coltrane, and Me'shell Ndegeocello. On this latest release trumpeter Ron Miles joins saxophonist Doug Carmichael, bassist Tim Carmichael and drummer Jon Powers to produce a paradoxical sound that is both avant-garde and melodic. The band's free improvisation mixed with genre-jumping grooves creates an infectious sound that is all their own.

JAZZ: Dave Liebman, Adam Nussbaum and Steve Swallow have played together, on and off for over 30 years. They decided to celebrate this by writing 10 originals for this project - the other cut is a Steve Swallow arrangement of Cole Porter's "Get Out Of Town" - where they explored the boundaries of modern jazz composition. Writing for a chord less trio was challenging in its own right but as Dave Liebman puts it: "When you play with musicians of this calibre, there is little difference from playing set pieces to playing free improvisations."

INTERNATIONAL: (2-CD Set) Here are two 60 minute CDs concerning those bird species that occur in southern Europe: Portugal, Spain, Provence, Italy and Greece. A countryside typified by holm oak and olive trees also has deserts (the Crau near the Camargue), steppe, garrigue and maquis; home to various species found nowhere else in Europe. With this double CD the listener can find some beautiful songs and learn to identify the species by sound.

INTERNATIONAL: (2-CD Set) A boxed set of two CDs includes the calls and songs of 112 species of aquatic and coastal birds with a total playing time of two hours 20 minutes. A real learning tool, sounds are classed into three categories, from single notes to the most complex songs. In each category species occur in alphabetical order. The simplest songs are on CD1, the most musical on CD2. Species name is announced at the start of each track, making this guide very practical and especially useful for those with poor sight.

MISCELLANEOUS: To the north-east of Australia, just below the Equator, Papua New Guinea covers the eastern half of the second largest island on earth (Greenland being the larger). 725 species of birds occur here. This CD proposes to first discover the most representative birds of mid-high habitats (1000 to 3500 meters) in 6 natural concerts. Then, a 28-track sound guide allows the listener to identify the most common birds. Recording made by Remy Bruckert and Jean C. Roche and described in a 12-page French and English booklet.

Visibility is reduced in tropical and equatorial forests where monkeys use sound, the only way of communicating over large distances. The CD includes more than an hours worth of recordings made while tracking monkeys in the forests of Gabon, Cameroon and Zaire, in difficult conditions, often without the animals aware of the recorder's presence.

The creative mind behind 3eme Sexe is musician, composer, producer Justin Meister. 3eme Sexe has been around the electronic scene since 2006, and Justin has had several people joining him before ending up with the hot constellation of today: Christelle Paris (vocals/recitation) & Lola Renault (additional guitars). This new album has been mixed and mastered by 3eme Sexe and Mr. Thomas Bon De Gaard (of Pornorama fame!) in his Funkwerk studio in Copenhagen.
