|The London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ataulfo Argenta performs Espana by Chabrier. Espana is the most famous orchestral composition by the French composer Emmanuel Chabrier. It was written in 1883 after the composer had taken a trip to Spain. It was dedicated to the conductor Charles Lamoureux, who conducted the first public performance of this music on 4 November 1883 at the Theatre du Chateau d'Eau for the Societe des Nouveaux Concerts in Paris. This recording has been mastered by the K2 HD format of 24-bit/100kHz, which creates an unbelievable sound surpassing other formats. This K2 HD CD will play on all CD players.
