First released in 1994 by Antone's Records, this CD was recorded live at the Caf� and direct to two track. TopCat Records is re-releasing this gem with 4 bonus tracks from the original sessions. Features Jack Barber, C. C. Pinkston, Floyd Domino, Ernie Bowser, and producer Stephen Bruton. Johnny plays guitar, harp, mandolin and keyboards -- he forges a lean, slicing attack held in place by a bedrock-firm bottom, reminiscent of the early Chess sessions.
