CD: $15.98 (US) - ($14.38 with *discount) | DELMARK |

| BLUES: Charles Wilson is an exciting and captivating performer capable of launching an audience into a frenzy. Born in Chicago, he's connected to the roots of the blues tree. From the age of four, Wilson, the nephew of blues legend Little Milton (featured as a special guest on this CD), would go with his father to see Uncle Milton's performances. Wilson released a string of albums starting in the late '80s for Ichiban and Ecko Records. "If Heartaches Were Nickels" is Wilson's first Delmark album, and in addition to Milton, Carl Weathersby provides lots of excellent guitar playing. Like all great soul singers, Wilson expresses pleading vulnerability, and like the great blues singers, he delivers the grit. | |||||

Sir Charles Mackerras' arrangement of music by Sir Arthur Sullivan from the Gilbert & Sullivan operas for a comic ballet created by choreographer John Cranko, and premiered in 1951 at Sadler's Wells Theatre in London. This ballet remains in the repertoire of the Royal Birmingham Ballet and has been recorded many times. However this atmospheric first stereo recording remains the finest both musically and technically. Recorded at EMI's Abbey Road Studio No. 1 on November 20, 1960 and produced by Peter Andry, this reissue has been cut at Abbey Road from the original EMI master tapes and has been pressed on 180 gram vinyl on original EMI presses at The Vinyl Factory in Hayes, England. | |||||

| OLDIES: For years, collectors have been trying to find this very rare 1967 LP recorded by two talented Christian troubadours who met during the summer of 1967 in Roanoke, Virginia. Before long, they had written over a dozen songs which looked at religion throughout the eyes and ears of the youth of the day. Their sound and musical talent are reminiscent of Simon & Garfunkel, Peter & Gordon, and Chad & Jeremy. | |||||
