Few collectors have even seen this record. Includes Love's classic recording of Juiced, issued under the name of Jackie Brenston as the follow up to Rocket 88, plus both sides of the Sun single that never was - Hey Now/ Way After Midnight. COMEDY: From deep in the vaults comes a digital re-release of their unplugged "Jazz" LP featuring the music of Duke Ellington and Fats Waller. The additional bonus tracks comprise the entire Jonathan & Darlene Disco Singles Collection from 1979 as originally premiered on the Dr. Demento Radio Program. Jonathan & Darlene Edward's 1957 debut album awarded them a 48 star review in Downbeat Magazine. Their second recording, Jonathan & Darlene In Paris won them the 1960 Grammy for best comedy album. Though this award category somewhat bewildered them it never the less continued a 25 year recording "career" which culminated in this final album originally released in 1982.When Jonathan & Darlene Edwards put their indelible mark on any style of music it's very hard to erase ! Indeed their jazz "interpretations" of these classic Ellington, Waller and Strayhorn compositions are a unique listening experience.
