Kay Kay Greenwade presents this new CD featuring her band Kay Kay and the Rays. The album was produced by multiple Grammy and W.C. Handy award winner Jim Gaines. Initially released in September 2003, "Big Bad Girl" made #10 on the September Living Blues report. Their previous release "Texas Justice" received rave reviews and charted at #15 in May 2002 for U.S. blues radio airplay. Kay Kay and the Rays appeared at the W.C. Handy Blues Festival as well as other festivals in 2003 and have invitations to two major festivals in 2004.

BLUES:
Detroit bluesman Doug Deming and his working band, The Jewel Tones, make their recording debut with a hard-hitting set. Deming and co. have been a mainstay in the Motor City for the past few years, and they're often called to back a number of international blues performers including Chicago's A.C. Reed, Johnnie Dyer, Alberta Adams, Johnny "Yard Dog" Jones and others. Deming, on guitar and vocals, combines various form of traditional blues from West Coast jump to Texas/Chicago shuffles to Louisiana swamp boogie. He's been the driving force behind the band (formerly the Blue Suit Band) since its beginnings in 1991.
